It is 2020 and the SH!T has hit the fan. How can you possibly still get SH!T done when bombarded by wildfires and murder hornets, not to mention a raging pandemic? Get SH!T Done takes the reader through a week already on the verge of overwhelm when an out of the blue request comes via text. Find out how she that week gets transformed into a success by using her SH!T Sheet with four simple steps to get rid of overwhelm and actually get SH!T done (including making a llama cake ). Then, read how four different people put the Get SH!T Done method into action and the lessons they learned along the way.
A portion of the proceeds from this book will be donated to Lend a Hand Uganda, a nonprofit that feeds and educates Ugandan orphans and vulnerable children to help them get out of poverty.
I've read many business books on managing the overwhelm. This book is concise and gives an easy to use method to address and conquer.
What I love about this book is it is NOT just about getting it done, but feeling good in the process. This step-by-step book not only is clearly written while giving fine techniques but is also loaded with different examples of how to apply the techniques. A fun read and super helpful!
As a recovering perfectionist who likes to juggle and do things by myself, I got a few new “Ahas!” from Amy’s wonderful book. For me, the mindfulness around how we want to feel and how we can connect with others as we Get Sh!t Done were two huge takeaways. Knowing that I can feel grounded, happy and ask for help while accomplishing goals is extremely liberating.
