What People Are Saying

What People Are Saying

Tina’s passion, energy, and pure optimism in life is what drives her unbelievably strong facilitation skills. Her strength in written and verbal communication is balanced with a unique ability to listen to people ... TRULY listen to people. If you as a reader truly listen, Tina will help drive your personal success while helping you be the best version of yourself each and every day.

—Trudy Hardy, Vice president, Marketing, BMW of North America

Tina’s in the business of people. Knowing how to talk, teach, and facilitate on an individual basis with a critical sense of reading people, is her forte. She has the intellectual depth of a well-respected psychologist with the razor sharp business savvy that can go toe-to-toe with any CEO. Tina has the ability to a command a room and create an experience through speaking or through facilitating. Teaching others how to do all of these things is an art and why I hired her to run our facilitation program.

—Nicolette Stapp Craumer, Former senior manager, Verizon

As a Counselor and Facilitator of weekly groups and workshops in the addictions field, I was intrigued by this book (The ART of Facilitation). I can truly say I learned techniques that have really
helped me step up my game. I have also used some of the learnings from the book as ‘life lessons’ that I’ve taught in myHealthy Relationships Group.

For example, I often use the “meeting at the restaurant” exercise on page 72, with each group member reading a different line to illustrate how inflection and tone can change the meaning of what is said. This stresses the importance of effective communication, body language and tone to my clients in a simple and engaging way. This book should be a must read for all public speakers.
