A Q&A with the Publish Your Purpose Team

1. How did you come to work with PYP?

There’s nothing quite as fulfilling to me as collaborating with individuals who possess something truly remarkable and meaningful to offer the world, and assisting them in bringing it to fruition. Publish Your Purpose embodies this ethos impeccably, serving as an inspiring platform dedicated to empowering individuals brimming with experience and wisdom to share their invaluable insights with the world.

2. What do you enjoy the most about your work?

What I enjoy most about helping people publish their books is witnessing the transformational journey they embark on. It’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of their process, from the initial spark of an idea to holding the finished product in their hands. Guiding them through the challenges, witnessing their growth as writers, and seeing their stories come to life is truly inspiring. Knowing that I’ve played a role in helping them share their unique voice and message with the world brings me immense joy and fulfillment.

3. What are your favorite books or genre?

Eckhart Tolle’s “A New Earth” helped me in my healing journey quite a bit. But I not only like reading memoirs and books on personal healing, but also enjoy fiction, or anything that helps me to learn about neurobiology, physics, or history.

4. How do you spend your free time?

I create jewelry made from crystals and minerals of the earth. But I also love swimming, roller blading, and bike riding, and walking on the beach. I have an insatiable appetite for profiling psychopaths and analyzing crime stories.

5. If you could have dinner with anyone, past or present, who would it be?

Hands down, my very best friend and favorite person in the world, my husband Chris. But #2 would be Chris Hedges. As a war reported and an author of some of the most poignant books of our time, Chris Hedges understands the truth about what is going on in this world than any other human being that I know. And I deeply respect his work and integrity.

6. What is one thing very few people know about you?

I am quite shy but when the focus is not on me, am much more gregarious and engaged.

7. How would you define your purpose?

Since I naturally overflow with loving joy, emotional connection, and interest in making life better for everyone, I feel that my purpose is in simply in sharing the skills I have learned along with the beauty of my soul to inspire and heal those who have come to me.
